Each month, subscribers may attend a
two-hour scheduled on-line event where you can actually
experience how expert professionals conduct
business without boundaries.
How to Participate
You may be an active or passive participant.
The first twenty subscribers will be part of the event,
actively working on achieving a result within the
frame of the experience. Everyone else will be able to
participate as observers to the first hour, then
interact and ask questions in the second.
During each monthly event, we'll spend the
first hour actually doing the work; during this time,
only active participants will interact. The next thirty
minutes will be an open discussion of the lessons
just learned and sharing of alternative methods that
have also worked. The final thirty minutes will be an
open discussion of any topic the subscribers decide
they'd like to explore.
Teleconferencing (July, 2002)
We'll schedule, publish an agenda, and conduct
a real teleconference using methods we've
described here and in future issues. Subscribers will
receive invitations, we'll use a registration process , and
the one-hour meeting will be conducted according to
the agenda. You'll see how a well-facilitated
teleconference can produce outstanding results from
simple principles.
Online Chat and Instant Messaging
(August, 2002)
We'll get you set up with appropriate software
and show you how to collaborate through Instant
Messaging (IM). We'll apply time-worn principles
of meeting management to this unusual medium, and explore where this technology would be best used.
You'll see how IM works, what its limitations are,
and what you need to do to make it successful.
Future Laboratories
Future laboratories will be dictated by you, our
subscribers. What do you need to know?
